Seeking rifle headstamp info

I ran across some rifle brass but forgot what it was.
It has an 8 on the top a D to the left, an A on the right and 82 on the bottom. Any help gou guys can offer is welcome.

Reading the OP I think part of the problem is the caliber isn't known. If so, more info is needed. Photos, case dimensions would help.

Or she forgot. “I ran across some rifle brass but forgot what it was” If I was guessing I would say ‘MADE IN CANADA”, then I would suggest checking for Berdan or Boxer primed. Made in Canady would not indicate made in Canada. Made in the USA does not mean ‘boxer primed’ I have R-P 30/06 cases that were Berdan primers complete with the anvil on the case side.
