I bought a new Stag AR last week, but I have not yet had a chance to try it out. My family and I went out of town last weekend and have had a blizzard (literally) this week. I am dying to shoot this thing, but that seems at least two weekends away.

It's tragedy of Shakespearean (maybe even Greek) proportions!:(

I'm in MO also and yeah it sucks here! I had a brand new custom built AR in .243 win built. I got it the weekend before deer season, I shot two deer up in Trenton, and I have not gotten to shoot it again. so I sighted it @200 and then pulled the trigger on two deer! Thats it! and it has been way too could for a fun day at the range! I feel your pain

It's no tragedy it's global warming!!! Don't let being snowed in with sub-zero temperatures fool you!

I'm hoping that by the end of March or first of April it'll be warm enough that I can drag my old bones to the range for some shooting.

That is rough.
I have the perfect solution: We have been having some very nice weather. Send the AR to me (I'll pay shipping) and I'll keep in warmed up for you. It's win, win for the both of us! Once the weather warms up back there I'll send it right back.

My Heart Bleeds Peanutbutter For You!

I have a brand new (to me) Walther PPS that I picked up on Dec 20th, and STILL haven't gotten to shoot it because the extractor I ordered from S&W STILL isn't here! I called them a week ago yesterday, and they swore it was in shipping, and would be in the mail by the end of the week.

Maybe your survival gear should include some winter boots and a coat. ;)

Just kidding I don't like to plan shooting sessions in a winter storm of this caliber. But we should ALL remember that shooting sports aren't just fair weather events. Get out there in the rain and snow if you can, make that rifle work. Not suggesting you have to risk life and limb to get to the range, just saying winter doesn't have to spoil your fun completely.

I hear your pain Brother!

Other than that I have a few here and there parts of Coffee Breaks on-line, the rest of the time all I do is Work...and, I am still behind on Work, let alone, how behind I am on everything else going to heck around here since I have no time to deal with it.

I have actual 'Cob Webs' on my Reloading Press..!

The Range is close to my Heart, and, far, FAR from the possibility of my schedule!

Snowmen make great targets!
