I am considering putting a Marbles tang sight on a 92 Winchester, seeking others experience and/or opinions on the current production Marbles tang sights especially relating to quality and ease of installation. Thanks in advance for your wise input.

I personally find them very uncomfortable, as they go right where my thumb wraps around the grip. The web of my hand always goes right up against the sharp metal base of the sight.

As other poster mentioned, may be some what uncomfortable. The benefits to using them to me at least really outweigh the minor inconvenience of moving my thumb. Superior sight picture, adjustable elevation, apautures can be swapped out vision aids added cool apperaence and quite traditional too, what's not to like?

I have also bee told that they are good for "old eyes" as well as opposed to open sights.

Quality is as good as it ever was on the two I have.

Ease of installation is child's play if the gun is already drilled & tapped for the front screw.

The great thing about the Marbles over the Lyman is, the Marbles is fully windage & elevation adjustable.

The Lyman tang sight has to be shimmed under the base to change windage.
