Apparently this guy who had problems with gang members in the past shot a 17 year old who was reaching for a gun. It happened in his front yard when he was going to his car. He was surrounded by a dozen or so gang-bangers and they were punching him, etc. when one of them pulled a gun. The 17 year old was injured and will recover.
Apparently the guy has cooperated with police in the past and this was retribution for that. The 17 year old's parents are calling for him to be arrested for assault. The last I heard the DA was still deciding what to do.
I heard about this case on talk radio but I couldn't find any news articles on it. Has anyone heard about it? I was flipping between Larry Elder and Bill Bennett and don't remember which one was talking about it.
