Well after reading for a little while, I cannot see a downside to having the C&R other than the effect to my wallet everyone warns of. :D I am getting mine mainly for the discounts, but I have already started looking and I know of at least two guns I want to get. I am sending the paperwork off today and will just need to play the waiting game. :banghead:

Yep, the C&R license is a dangerous thing to posses. Does not do well with your finances.

First thing I did with mine was order 3 SKS's for the collection. Also, sent copies off to MidwayUSA and Brownell's.

Enjoy!

Soon you will see deals that you just can’t pass up, and how can you go wrong with any fine old military rifle priced under $100?

"Dumb question time yet agian

C&R?"

Curios and Relics - allows individual to buy certain firearms (surplus/antique) at dealer prices. Similar to FFL - Federal Firearms License - meant for retailers and dealers. :)

Just got mine in mail after about a month wait. Now I gotta start saving up for the good deals... :D

I am so weak.

I couldn't resist any longer. I finally gave in to the force. I have sent for the C&R license forms. Now all I need is another job to pay for all of the stuff I have been drooling over. Man, SMLEs, Moisins, and more . I guess I may really have a use for the 401-K.:)

You guys are lucky that are getting your licenses in 30 days. I am at 13 1/2 weeks and still waiting. I call the ATF but they just tell how long the whole process may take. I only know that it is at the local office for review :cuss: :banghead: I think it has something to do with living in NY
