Yeah

Yeah, anyone know?

I try to think positively, but its so easy with gun control zealots to hope for the best and expect the worst.

2 weeks!

Mongol General : We have won again. That is good! But what is best in life?
Mongol General : The open steppe, fleet horse, falcon on your wrist, wind in your hair!
Mongol General : Wrong! Conan, what is best in life?
Conan : To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!
Mongol General : That is good.

This quote from the stopthenra.com is a gem. There is a photo of difference rifles. Some of them even look like post-ban rifles.

These guns -- including Uzis and AK-47s -- will be coming back to our neighborhoods at the end of the summer, courtesy of President Bush, unless the Assault Weapons Ban is renewed

Liberals rely of the ignorance ot the general public to accomplish their agenda.

I want to thank the Brady Campaign for providing me with the exact number of days, hours, minutes and seconds until I can pick up my new, formerly LEO-only, Bushmaster.

I also plan to crush every clinton mag I have and stock up on normal-caps.

It is interesting that their list of gun "incidents" include 5 cases that happened AFTER the ban was passes, so why are we supposed to believe that it works? Plus they also neglect to mention some of the more high-profile AK and AR incidents, namely the Kali Hollywood shoot-out and the DC snipers.

The ban will expire on September 13, 2004. The major question now is how successful will the antis be with attempts to pass state-level bans and a new federal ban?

The answer to that question is largely going to depend on the results of the November election.

Hawkman

I'll take those 10-rounders that you're set to crush. Heck, I'll even pay for the package, the postage and something for your time to make up the package.

I, too, will be stocking up on normal cap magazines. I didn't feel particularly limited by the cosmetic feature ban (though I wouldn't mind having actual flash-hiders on my firearms), but the mag ban was expensive. I can't wait to get GI-spec M1A 20-rounders for something like $15, and 20- and 30-round AR mags for $10-$12. I also expect that what are now called pre-ban mags will, in about 2 weeks, revert to being what they actually are: OLD, and often used, mags, with a nice price drop resulting. I would hope that pre-'94 30-round AR mags would sell for about $7.50.

I'd like to get my hands on some "LEO only" mags - they're going to be collectors items someday.

Dont crush your clinton mags. Send them to the CA and NY senators ahahaha.

Like the AWB banned Uzis and AK-47s to begin with. I can go to a gun shop right now and pick up ANY so called "Assualt Weapon". What I can't have is cerent features on the weapons.
