Serbu BFG-50 or Armalite AR-50?

If you were buying a .50 BMG and it was between the two what would it be and why? Both of these are readily availabe and within my price range in California.

I really like the Serbu I think its a great value. On the other hand the AR-50 is just as good or better and Armalite will always be around.

If you're in Cali, and trying to get a .50 before the end of the year, I know Serbu is running a special right now where you get a reciever for $1000 and have up to a year to come up with the balance to get the rest of the rifle. It's right on their front page

Serbu said they sold more .50s in Cali in one day after the ban was signed than they sold to the ENTIRE country in a month!

Way to go Cali Legislators. You're really getting those 3v!L .50s off the streets!

Well I just got in an order for a Barrett Model 99 off of a dealer on Gunbroker.com.
Hopefully I can take possesion before January. The dealer sold all his stock and is waiting for more.

This particular model 99 has already been ordered from Barrett days ago so the dealer says it should arrive anytime now.
I can't wait.
