Why, "for a unified, tactically-enhanced, dual weapon system" of course!For.......what?
Finally, the gun equivalent of turducken.
- Quick connecting user installed
- Ensures your backup weapon is kept readily available at all times
Of course, it had to be a Glock.
Yup... If the BATFE catch you with this thing, you're in a world of pain. It turns the GLOCK into an SBR, forever (remember, once a rifle, always a rifle)...For the record, yes, that WOULD be considered an SBR, and mere ownership of that part would be considered constructive intent because it serves no other purpose.

This is awesome! All of my friends from glocktalk.com will think I am the coolest! I've been looking for one to do my walking the beat outside of footlocker; things can get pretty ugly in those parts of the mall. Thanks Israel Military Products!
I can see a real use for this thing. Get yourself an under-mounted 870, ala Masterkey, then get a railed forend for that and stick the Glock underneath and then get the pistol bayonet to mount on that. Sounds like the perfect all-around weapon to me. Never mind there are 3 triggers and only 2 hands to operate them! These are small details that can be worked out with training! For potential long range operations you could even mount a single shot .308 on the side rail of the AR. Man now that's a weapon!
That pretty much proves they were on something when they designed this. 5.56 has less of a chance of over-penetrating than 9mm, .40, .45, etc. Silly, silly people. And anyone who buys it is even sillier than the manufacturer.I saw it when it was introduced at the SHOT show several years ago. Being a gizmo fan I had to ask about it and the explanation given was that it was intended to give a pistol response when the carbine was too powerful. I didn't know enough about penetration/over-penetration back then to question it. They also agued it would provide a more stable platform to fire the pistol and it would also provide for immediate backup in the event of a carbine failure.
These days I'm very skeptical of the practicality of it.
