I have a 23 and a 27. There are two specific serpa cqc models, one for 26/27/33 and one for 19/23/etc.

I have a galco king tuck I use for both of my handguns. Does anyone have a serpa they have used with two frames? Could I buy one that works for both or do I need two separate holster?

SERPA holsters are an open muzzle design, so they have a bit more play for fit when it comes to barrel length. When I was a firearm instructor, our primary loaners were G22, 23, and 19. All three were able to fit in a SERPA holster designed for the G22.

The subcompact Glocks will fit in the holsters for the compact and full-size guns, but there will be some space at the bottom. Since the only difference between the guns is the barrel/grip length, the retention lock is unaffected.

Happen to have the same two guns listed. The holster for the G23 works with the shorter gun too. I also have a Safariland ALS holster for the G23, which seems to fit the G23 better than the G27- go figure! The ALS (Automatic Lock System) has MUCH less rattle and movement than the Serpa. It is also lined and protects the finish better and is quieter on the draw or on the reholster. I wear 1x or 2X gloves, depending on the maker. The first pad of my finger tends to overshoot the release button on the Blackhawk Serpa even with the finger slightly curled. I find myself pressing the hard side of the holster instead of the button. The ALS uses a thumb release which I find to be much more natural and fluid in use. In addition to that (if it is still on YouTube) - there is a video showing how easy it is to lock up the release button on the Serpa. With nothing more than sand, small pebbles or snow- which can easily get packed into the space under the button (as you can do from rolling around in a scuffle), the holster locks the gun into place. Depending on who wins the scuffle, this can be a good or bad thing. In either case, it adds an element of uncertainty which I find troublesome. Hopes this helps.
