I'll admit my bias, I'm not a Serpa fan. I don't have anything against the reliability of the lock mechanism, though there are plenty of folks that do. I don't think they conceal well and I don't know why one would need a retention device on a range holster. I'm sure there is a user they are perfect for, but I'm not one of them.

Now that I've explained my bias, there are lots of great kydex holsters that should be available for your Sig. A few that come to mind are...

Can't speak for the Sportster variant of the SERPA, but I have a SERPA for my full size 1911, for my CCO patterned 1911, for my Glock 23, and now for my Sig Sauer P226R. I have found that they are a great option for carry in the winter months when heavier clothing or all day with a sport coat is the norm, but they are awful on the concealment end during the summer months or if a jacket or heavy sweater is not work to conceal the gun. If a good composite or Kydex holster is what you're after, Blade-Tech is a great option as is the Safariland concealment paddle holster which has the added benefit of being either suede or felt lined to slow down the holster wear process on the holster to gun contact/friction points.
