Setting expander for proper bell question

I don't remember which company set up manual I read this from but my general practice is as follows: set the expander die to contact the shell plate, screw out die 1.5 turn. Insert brass, raise ram. Check to see if a bullet will "snap" into the brass by hand. Stop adjusting if it does, keep adjusting if it doesn't.
