S'field EMP...anything similar w/ DA/SA trigger?

Can anyone recommend a pistol that's similar in size to the Springfield EMP but that has a DA/SA trigger? I believe the EMP has the typical SA-only 1911 style trigger.

By similar size, do you mean all dimensions? Does it have to be single stack like the EMP?

And what caliber are you looking for? 9mm/.40?

A Sig 239 maybe.

If you want a 1911 style you will have to go with a Para Carry 9 or 45 with the LDA trigger.

Prefer single stack, but I'm open to double-stack too. 9mm. Overall dimensions similar. What I'm looking for is a small da/sa 9mm that has an exposed hammer that isn't too small (eg. Kahr PM9 size) nor too big (eg. Beretta 92).

Your options are pretty limited. I'll second the p239, but beside that I can't really think of anthing.

If you'd be willing to go down to a .380 or take a striker gun instead, we'd have more to talk about.

i think the S&W 3913 is the pretty obvious choice. you could go the economy route and get a S&W 908...there are some LE trade-ins on the market now

i've found the Sig 239 a bit too large and the Para Ord to lack build quality

the most direct comparison to the EMP seems to be the Kahr...i have an EMP and a CW9...is your objection to the DA trigger?
