I included them in the Blade Show review.

Their prices are very good and they seemed like good folks.

I have to agree that they're very thick sturdy knives.

We discussed their materials and heat treat and I was quite satisfied they knew what they were doing.

Thick, and powder coat don't add up to very much in my Sharp scale of knives.

Maybe good pry bars until the powder coat chips off?

But knives??

Not for me I think.

The thick powder coat is a fad I think. In the mind sett of stopping rust and creating a something durable its a good idea but every knife I have bought with paint or coating ends up getting some EZ strip.

Thick blades and powder coat are an interesting combination. My Ka Bar BKT's hold an edge like some folks hold a grudge. The blades range from .25" down and I am satisfied with all of them.
My non coated blades are my favorites for maintenance purposes. Plus they are just a whole lot more pleasing to the eye.
So, what is my point? Coated blades are serviceable, but not near as attractive as a non coated blade. They both cut.
