You've been doing that a lot lately. Nice looking revolver, the 38 Special is all you need in a 36 caliber revolver and the M15 is all you need in a 38 Special revolver.
It's a heck of shooter. It convinced me to not bother with model 10s and simply get Model 15s if I'm in the mood for a strict .38, it's the only .38 I own.
I nabbed one at the flea market a couple weeks ago. Mine is nickel, with Herrett custom target grips, and it was "flea market priced". It shoots as well as my other S&Ws, too.
I do love those classic good looks, and the feel, of a K frame.
I'm constantly torn between which I like best. The Model 15 or the 19. Since I almost never shoot .357 ammo, it's a tough call.
I think the Model 15 edges the 19 for me because it's a lighter, trimmer gun. The more tapered barrel, lack of an ejector rod shroud, and slightly shorter cylinder just make a slightly nicer handling gun.
Catch me next week and I might have changed my mind.
