Sharp Looking Canik SC

I was at Academy today and saw three Canik pistols in Patriot Brown. There was a full size and compact, both of The One variety and then there was the SC with optics rail for ~$380.

Is the Patriot Brown color an Academy exclusive? I cannot find any Patriot Brown Caniks listed for sale other than at Academy. And yes, they were Patriot Brown and not FDE, Desert Tan, Tungsten Gray, etc. The display said Patriot Brown and I have a rifle Cerakoted in Patriot Brown so I can confirm that there wasn’t a misadvertising or misunderstanding of colors.

Anyways, the pistols looked extremely sharp. Both the frames and slides were in Patriot Brown. I’m curious if this is an exclusive or if Academy just happened to beat the other distributors to the punch. I was unable to locate anything on either Canik USA’s site nor elsewhere showing the Patriot Brown colored guns.

Not really my favorite color in the world but I will say I do have a certain "fondness" for guns with black or blued slides and FDE frames.

Just one of those "I don't know why, I just do".

From whose website is that photo? That looks like FDE although it may just be the picture. Patriot Brown is kind of a blend of a brown and green.
