I'm going to sell off a couple of my shotguns and use the money to buy a repro Sharps rifle, thinking of the Pedersoli lightweight Target or the regular Target rifle.
Anybody have experience with either of these.
I'll buy in 45-70 as I'm set up to shoot that.

Pedersoli's a great guns. Mike Venturino says they are the only foreign made gun to keep up with the Shiloh and C Sharps at the BPCR Championships.

I have a Pedersoli Billy Dixon model. .45-70. It is very accurate (I can routinely -- but not all the time -- make 1-1/2" groups with my handloads at 100 yards and open sights), beautiful wood, nice metal work, great trigger.

Here's fourteen shillings on the drum
For those who'll volunteer to come
To list and fight the foe today
Over the hills and far away

O'er the hills and o'er the main
To (through) Flanders, Portugal and Spain
King George commands and we obey
Over the hills and far away

Through smoke and fire and shot and shell
Unto the very walls of hell
We shall stand and we shall stay
Over the hills and far away

Oh, I thought you meant Sharp's Rifles.
