"She-ro". Good for her. So much for the whole "a woman will have a self-defense gun used against her" argument. Also, this guy seemed to have the drop on her but she was still able to pull it off. Nice to see that she made it out alive.

Missouri 7-Eleven worker shoots would-be robber dead on her smoke break
Published April 26, 2017
New York Post

A Missouri convenience store clerk was hailed as a “she-ro” by fellow employees after police said she fatally shot a would-be robber during a smoke break.

The wild confrontation unfolded after the 35-year-old worker, who was not identified, stepped outside for a smoke during her shift at a 7-Eleven in St. Louis just before 3:50 a.m. Monday, cops said. Suddenly, an armed man approached her and tried to rob her — but the woman, who was also armed, pulled out a pistol and shot the man in the chest, arm and thigh.

The suspect, 30, later died at St. Louis University Hospital, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

I hope the woman is all right, psychologially as well as physically, and that her employer stands behind her through the aftermath.

and that her employer stands behind her through the aftermath

It'd be a change if they did, they've fired employees in the past for defending themselves at work.

Come on guys give the millennials a break. They have been told how special they are and can't believe that they don't know everything. So when they don't know a word, or see the common one as not PC, they make up stuff so they can claim they are smart.

Shero, LOL,

.

Why use she-ro when all actresses became actors years ago?

I guess the feminists and millenials aren't on the same page.

EDIT: it looks like the 7-11 woman got the name she-ro from her co-workers. Nothing wrong with a little nickname from your coworkers or friends, IMO.
