I put this little knife together to try a goofy sheath idea I had.

Using this blade:

The Sheath-Lock is the matching handle scale material, riveted to the back section of the sheath.
It fits inside the matching hole in the knife handle.

To release the knife, you punch or pull the lock out of the handle with your fingers while grasping the knife.
It actually worked way better than I thought it would!

It is a really neat idea especially for smaller blades. The Buck Hartsook uses a similar concept that I found to work well.

I am enjoying your exhibitions of knives you have made, by the way :).

Thank you conw!
I was wondering if everyone was getting tired of looking at them!

I had not seen that Buck Hartsook you posted.
It is the exact same idea.

I think they stole it from me!! :D
No, probably not.

It has probably been done before lots of times, but I had never seen it used till I made that one.
