Shelf life of Pyrodex Pellets.

I've kept standard black powder and pyrodex for years with no problems, but I'm not sure about pyrodex pellets. Does the binding compound used deteiorate over a period of time, or are these just as stable as the standard powders?

I've had a box for a couple of years now and I'm figuring on picking up the ol smokepole again this season.

With the price they ask for them, that shelf life had better be a loooong time!

I shot em a couple years old with no problems. Can't really tell ya what the real shelf like is though.
