Well you're certainly free to restate the matter if you think I mischaracterized it. In my book, if you're hell-bent on shutting down your local school system because you think that there is a subversive plot afoot among teachers to brainwash female students into getting abortions, then I call you a crazy nut-job. This guy Dorr does not appear to be playing with a full deck.
This is not a difference of politics. This is not a "you guys over on this side" vs "you guys over on that side" kind of deal.
Oh sure, I know. We're in a brand new age now. A New Era.
Today, if everyone thinks the world is round and that there's such a thing as evolution, for example, and you can find one single person who disagrees, why then the jury is still out. We have a "controversy." And then there is no right and wrong, but rather everyone should weigh the evidence and make up his or her own mind, right?
Wrong.
There is still such a thing as truth. And in this case, in particular, the Truth is that the school systems do not indoctrinate female students into becoming abortion factories. Dorr is clearly a rowboat with only one oar in the water. It is not obvious that he should be given concealed carry privileges without a second thought because he's getting way out there in loony-land.
Remember Cho? The Virginia Tech shooter? There were grounds to suspect he was going off the rails. The presumption was that signs were missed and he somehow slipped through the cracks. This case is getting very close to that one. Not quite there, but close.
