So I just finished watching this movie starring Clive Owen. I was actually rather entertained by it. It had some pretty impressive gun choreagraphy, and if you didn't let the plot (who watches a movie called "Shoot Em Up" for plot?) get in the way, then it wasn't half bad. I am curious as to other people's opinions on this movie. Is it actually an anti gun movie? That really did seem to be the plot. And that coupled with all of the over the top, completely innacurate portrayals of firearms, really does give alot of the uninformed "fence sitters" and antis a lot of "ammuniton" (their mags never run out actually).

What do you think?

I just saw it too and while I was entertained, I know that it's only a movie, ie. make-believe. None of it's real and I doubt that the writers, producers and actors gave any thought about sending any sort of message -they're in it to make some money and have some fun.

In a make-believe world, you can make guns and bullets defy physics, just like in video games.
