Our business has recently received interest in our products from Canada, Austrailia and New Zealand. We originally set up our shopping cart so that only domestic orders could be made. I've checked with various retailers and done substantial research on Google, but I'm getting some conflicting information with regard to shipping firearm related accessories (parts like .22 cal rifle stocks, grips, mounts, scopes) to other countries. We do not intend to export any receivers, bolts, barrels, etc... We are not an FFL dealer and are having a difficult time finding out how we can help out these international sportsmen but still be in compliance with our domestic export laws.
It is easy to find out what each individual countries' laws are on firearms and accessories (i.e. we can't ship Tannerite!), but we are not sure where or if we need special licensing to export these goods from our own country. I would greatly appreciate any info about where I need to go to get started, other than already Googling my brains out and getting lost in various conflicting articles from different government agencies. For your reference and to see the kinds of products we sell, our website is www.blacksuntactical.com
Thank you for any help you can provide!
