Hi,

I'm looking for answer.
Can I ship shotgun ammo 12GA to CA?

Thank you,

.
Depends on the destination. In most of CA, yes; a resident can receive ammunition at their doorstep.

I don't have any list to refer to, but, for example, I live in Los Angeles, 900-- zip code (a suburb within L.A. City limits) and I cannot have ammunition shipped to me. I have to drive away and fetch it. Fortunately I have two or three local retailers to purchase from... but when I wish to order perhaps a specialty item, say, Brenneke shotgun slugs, I cannot avail myself of the selection presented online and most retailers don't stock the entire line of Brenneke product.

Thank you,
Wondering if you could check this location for me?

Respectfully, I have no more resources to check this than you do.

I will say that Yucaipa is a nice, small town nestled in the foothills of the great San Bernardino mountain range and it is so far removed in many ways from Los Angeles that Yucaipa might as well be in Oregon or Arizona.

Although Yucaipa is in California (in San Bernardino county) I sincerely doubt there are any municipal restrictions in place preventing Yucaipa residents from receiving ammunition at their door. For example, there are several municipalities located within Los Angeles County and that are surrounded on all sides by L.A. City but their zip codes do not reflect the L.A. City 900-- prefix. Residents in these independent cities can also receive ammunition. I know this because I lived in one until quite recently.

Good luck.

Yucaipa is fine. But to be sure for yourself, pretend to make an order on midway or other site.

Enter all the info including credit card info. If it wasn't OK, the sites stop you long before you have the opportunity to press 'submit'.

Some cities have local ordinances that restrict ammo sales at stores, and they mistakenly get applied by mail order companies.
Either way, there is no law that restricts shipping ammo in California
