Quick question. Did a search on this but came up with firearm shipping info, not parts info.

I sold a firearm barrel to someone in another state and want to ship it to them. Is this kosher? My understanding after reading the USPS regs is that the barrel isn't considered a firearm so everything is okay.

All firearm parts can be shipped without any trouble.

A serial numbered "frame" or "receiver" by BATFE standards has certain restrictions.

Suggest you put it in a piece of PVC pipe, with one end solidly capped, and the other end with a screw-on... Ask them to send it back to you... Pad it in good at one end to keep it from moving.

Barrels are heavy, and can punch through boxes.
