Shipping container for a lever-action?

I need to ship an 1895 back to Marlin because the dang thing won't chamber cartridges cleanly.

Anybody have any clever ideas regarding how to box it up without having to cut-up cardboard and fabricate a shipping container from scratch?

Or, said another way, has anyone discovered an off-the-shelf shipping box that is good for shipping a lever-action?
