I need to vent! My dealer shipped a rifle for me via UPS and it arrived, but not in the same condition that it was shipped. The condition that was explained to me was: "it looks like the box was dragged down the highway." This is the second oops from UPS that has directly affected me. I won an online auction for a Winchester 1892 about 6 months ago. That rifle is still missing.
Has anyone else had similar experiences with UPS?
Now I have the paperwork mountain to scale to get reimbursement for their errors. Although small in scale, maybe we should withhold shipping payment until our packages arrive in acceptable condition.
