Does anyone know of any shipping company that will ship flintlock parts from the UK. this is starting to get frustrating

Just curious.....Why can't the company manufacturing the parts ship them
UPS and Fedx are both international shippers.

Here is a list of international firearms dealers - four of them have addresses in the UK and show e-mail addresses as well :

I would guess that flintlocks in the UK share the same legal status as modern firearms do in the US. While you don't need any special paperwork to import them into the US exporting them out of the UK might require licenses and documentation on that end.

Send an e-mail to Flintlocks Etc. Richard will know who can and will.

E J Blackley and son, notice.

Shipping Issues

SHIPPING ISSUE - Pistol Kits (overseas)
We have been informed that Fed Ex will no longer entertain Pistol kits, the letter in question is from the 'top', so leaves little doubt to the possibility of change.
We are now desperately liaising with a company to ship 'on mass', to a designated agent and the initial conversations have been very positive.
Also on any future kit orders, the shipping cost would be very similar to the existing pricing structure.

Existing outstanding orders are paramount and are being treated as a priority; thus first to go with the new system. We will be liaising with those particular customers as soon as possible.

We will be manufacturing these kits in lots of 10, (the number that can be bulk shipped to the most economical effect)
Any new orders will be placed in the order of date received, and be despatched according to space allotted in the bulk shipment.
For example ordered kit number 11 will be sent in the second production batch, and number 21 in the third - etc.

This is Blackleys new Shipping Policy.

Another UK gun control act. Thank god my ancestors left in the 1700's. I love all thing English just not England.

If you just need a few parts, there are gunsmiths in the US who can make some parts in old-school fashion.
