Shooting .40 and 9mm out of the same XDM?

I have heard you can get a 9mm barrel that will fit the .40 XDM. Is there any truth to this? I also heard the cost is around $75.

Firedragon makes 9MM conversion barrels for the XD. I have one for my XD SC in .40. On their website they show a 9MM conversion barrel for the XD (M) as well. Call them and ask.
