Earlier this week my roommate's co-worker shot and killed two Mexicans who were committing an armed robbery in the movie theater parking lot.

My roommate and his co-worker were walking outside the the Century movie theater in down town Reno Monday night around 2300 or, so when they came across an armed robbery in progress out in the parking lot. Six Mexicans were robbing three white guys at gunpoint. My roommate's co-worker shot and killed the first two Mexicans on the spot. The other four fled at that point. It turned out later that they actually had an Air Soft gun. RPD doesn't care though. It's still aggravated robbery and, the shooting is still justified. The co-worker went on administrative leave which is normal. He and, my roommate are doing well. So are the three guys that were getting robbed. None of us are too choked up about the whole thing.

    I'm hoping he wasn't carrying a J-frame off duty.

What does carrying a J-frame have to do with anything?

Max, why don't you post a link from a local Reno TV station, or newspaper that gives some details on the story? I looked at both KNRV and KOLO websites, and the Reno Gazette, but couldn't find one thing on it.

We don't like driveby shooting stories from the internet when they have links to a local source. We like 'em even less with no report available.
