I built this bench from Horst & McCann website. It turned out pretty good although I've yet to shoot from it. I will say that it is very solid and does not move. I used 6X6 post like the plan called for and I'm glad I did.. I did not build it to bury in the ground like the plans call for because my neighbor may borrow it from time to time. Its heavy enough it takes 2 people to lift and move it. I had some of the lumber laying around but I could have built it for probably around $120 if I had to buy everything.. It was quite simple to build for I built it in an afternoon.. I sanded some of the edges to make it easy on the skin... Hopefully this will help tighten up some groups because I've been shooting from the tailgate of my truck... ha ha ha....

I think if I had to do over again, I would have adjusted the top of the bench to work out even on the decking boards instead of having to rip this one down to finish out the top... JMO...
