Has anyone found shooting glasses that fit well over regular eyeglasses? All of those I have seen at both LGS and big box stores do not.
This became more important to me when an ejected .45 casing from my 1911 hit center of my (hardened) eyeglass lens and left a tiny divot right in my field of view.
I tried wearing hardware store shop-type vented safety goggles over my specs, but at the outdoor range they tended to fog up.
The only relevant thread I found here on THR is
New shooter eyes and ear protection
which was opened and closed in 2008, and only addressed regular shooting glasses and custom prescription ones.
Thanks!

I have the same question. Like you, I've tried many different ways to do it but haven't found the right setup yet. I suppose I could give up looking for a cheap way and just have my optometrist fix me up.

I just got some prescription Wiley-X, then went to the strap, then modified that so the adjuster is in the back, never under my earpro. Maybe I look odd, do not care, I am all-day comfortable in them.

Nothing else worked very well, and double lenses are double the fog, double the cleaning, etc.

I have some that I picked up at a motorcycle rally yrs ago and have forgotten about them until now, I have both tinted and yellow lense, maybe check motorcycle sites for goggles.

I opted for scrip shooting glasses from Randolph instead of trying to make two pairs of glasses work, especially with muffs.

There are some over the glasses sunglasses and yellow lens versions of those made. I have a set of the yellow over glasses ones for shooting Trap at night. I know a clear version is made, we had one set in at work, sold them, never got a replacement. (Unless they are laying in a forgotten corner of the store after the prospective buyer set them down after changing their mind. Happens all the time at Wal-Mart, which is why you find yogurt tubs sitting in the yarn aisle...)

Here's one I find on google:

I went with a Stetson frame for mine, with Nikon Transitions 8 Amethyst lenses for Trap:

For rifle and pistol, I wear my regular glasses or my cycle sunglasses.

These are the yellow ones I have:

These look like what I was seeking. I think your key was including "over the glasses" or "OTG" in the google search.I ordered a clear lens Honeywell Avatar from Factory Supply and the yellow lens from Numercy. Very reasonable prices. I will report back after trying them out.

A lot of places may not be shipping or even open.

I ordered some parts from Numrich/Gun Parts a little over a week ago, and didnt see the note that said they were shut down, but still taking orders, and would fulfill them in the order received when they opened back up.

I found what I was looking for elsewhere, and had a hell of a time just getting in touch with Numrich to cancel the order, as no one was manning the phones and they show no email.

Finally found a forum they run and someone asked the same question and they posted a contact link.

If you are just trying to prevent damage to your lens you might just get a pair of polarized clip ons to protect the surface.
