Shootout w/ cops in my town. Help ID guns pls.

Just read in the paper yesterday there was a shootout with cops. Seems a former cop had some sour grapes about his ex wife dating another guy and took after them with a pistol and a rifle. See full story here:

It seems the new boyfriend took a few hits from the ex-husband from this pistol. Any ideas what it is? I know the pic isn't great, but I think it' some kind of single action with a brass grip frame.

Later on when the cops showed up he took after them with the rifle in the picture. They ended up shooting him twice in the leg, weather it was on purpose or not I don't know. Any ideas what kind of rifle that is?

rifle looks like an AR. sixgun probably italian made big bore.

Some sort of SA revolver though I can't tell you which. Holster is also a CAS type holster.

I saw a better view of the rifle on Channel 4 news, it was a bolt-action scoped rifle with a camouflage stock. I couldn't tell you what the pistol is, but it looks like a single action revolver.
