shoots to the right

Hi all just one quick question. I have a 1911 with gi sights when I shoot it it shoots to the right I am left handed this is the only gun I have that does this. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your rear sight is drift adjustable.
Just drift it to the left a bit with a brass punch and a small hammer.

Or you can try placing a 1" thick wood block under your right foot when you shoot, and that will make you lean to the left and be more on target. LOL
 
Have you had another shooter try shooting it to see if it hits to the right for them as well or can you shoot it from a rest and see where it hits? It could be a grip issue, trigger pull issue, sights could be misaligned, eye issue. I would suggest seeing if it does it for anyone else before tinkering with the pistol. I have had issues with shooting because I am right handed and left eye dominant but can't shoot left handed. On my first outing with a pistol I will always hit left until I figure out how I need to hold the pistol or adjust how I pull the trigger. Had a pistol that I would always hit left with and asked a guy at the range to shoot my gun with my ammo and see how he hit, dead center.

opposite for left hand shooters. If it works for the ladies, should work for us guys.:D
