So I'm aware of the CCO concept of 1911's - shorter grip allowing for enhanced concealability, while maintaining a relatively standard slide/barrel length. CCO's though at least still allow for a full grip - or close to it.

My question is, are there any other manufacturers out there that do something similar to this concept? I'm envisioning a grip similar to that on a G26 or LCP - two fingers with the last finger not on the grip to make it more concealable in an IWB or even a pocket, but with maybe an extra inch of slide/barrel than those pocket guns typically have (even revolvers, think J-Frame plus one inch)

Rob Pincus has something on the internet where he essentially created a Glock 26 long slide. I forget which model Glock he started out with to chop down the grip.

I played around with this:

Its an EAA Witness full sized 10mm upper on an EAA Witness compact frame (12 shots in 10mm). And of course I tried the reverse compact slide on full sized frame.

Since the Witness pistols have interchangeable uppers as a design feature they are easy to this kind of thing with.

I've seen multiple people online chop down the grips on the Glocks to create "CCO" Glocks. Usually it's a 19 sized gun cut down to accept 26 mags. You could do it yourself if you're handy with that sort of thing.

Here's a pic of a Detonics StreetMaster. Detonics USA made a couple of hundred of these using a CombatMaster frame, which is slightly shorter than an Officers ACP frame, and a full size 5" barrel and slide assembly. It's a pretty cool piece, one of the grail guns for Detonics collectors.

This pic shows it next to a full size Springfield 1911
