Hey Guys
I'm new to THR so please bare with me. I've been shooting only for a few months now and have noticed that my shot groupings are mostly low and right. Any ideas why?? FYI -- I'm shooting a glock 23. Thanks for the response!

What kind of ammo are you shooting? Have you tried a variety of stuff from different manufacturers in different weights? How far off are you, and at what ranges are you shooting?

If you've only used one kind of ammo, then it could be a variety of things. If everything seems to shoot near the same spot, then it might be your technique.

Bear in mind that shooting the Glock, a very high percentage of shooters have a tendency to drag their finger along the frame when pulling the trigger. I used to do this - drew my shots low and left. The secret is to adjust your grip so that your trigger finger is pulling the trigger while NOT dragging on the frame or trigger-guard. Try doing this, and see if the point of impact adjusts closer to the point of aim.

I think it's called "trigger control". I have a tendency to shoot low and left since I shoot from the port side. I pull down as the trigger breaks.

Start dry firing... a lot. It's very, very good practice. Watch the sights as the trigger breaks. Odds are good you are dropping the muzzle slightly as the trigger breaks. The name of the game is trigger control.

My $0.02.

Tim
