I got to the range today with my Bushmaster XM-15 and OMG is it a blast to shoot!:what: I can't remember when I had so much fine shooting a rifle. I only had 60 rounds of Black Hills Match King HP's and I wish I had brought more. I brought with me 2 Hoppe's 100 yard small rifle targets with me and set them up at about 75+ yards. The first target was not so good, out of about 30 rounds I only hit the black 10 times. My next target was much better; Only 3 rounds were off the black, with almost all of them in the 8 and 9 ring with 2 in the middle. I just made some sight adjustments and all was good. Now off to do some of my own loads. I can't wait to pick my other Bushmaster up this week!:D :D

I love my Bushy A2 16" HBAR. I tried scoping it, but that was a pain in the a$$. The only complaint I have is the crap trigger. I installed a lighter spring kit, and that helped a lot.

Trust me, if your planning on scoping it, buy a flat top. I can't seem to find a carry handle mount that will stay put. I have just settled on the issue sights, however, I may swap out the frint sight for a thinner one. Bushmaster is known to use a little wider than normal front blade. Here's a couple pics of my humble little set up.

60 is nothing, I take 300 and that is good enough for me to leave not feeling cheated of fun.

AR's are unbelieveable wallet killing, ammo eating machines. So easy and fun to shoot, it goes through ammo like candy.

I bought another one today, but I got a delay so I have to wait 2-3 days until I can pick it up. Kind of pisses me off, but that's the ATF for you. Anyways, the one I bought has the telescoping stock and a flat top, but the barrel is like the one on the Predator. I am not sure what model it is, but it looks sweet and I already have a Nikon scope set aside for it. Time to go, my brass is done in the tumbler.:D :D
