Went to the range to today to shoot first my reloads. Needless to say I was not very successful. I Bought 400, 40 S&W 165 gr JHP at a gun show. Looked up some loads and decided to go with 6.5 grains (Starting Load) of unique and Winchester primers with an overall length of 1.122 inches. I first loaded one round at a time into my glock 22, which was working. When I started to load multiple rounds into to the magazine the action would not load the next round into battery. It seems that the action does not have enough power to strip the round out of the magazine. In addition, I had squib towards the end of session.:banghead::banghead::banghead: I went straight to the hardware store after the range and bought a brass rod to tap out the round. Should I increase my load or is there another factor at play? I am definitely not discouraged just wondering what next?
