Shot rumor...

Hey all... a fairly reliable friend told me of a rumor that light shot will be jumping in price (from @$12 a bag to $15-18 a bag). Anyone heard anything about this?

Haven't heard this but may make sense with the prices of scrap metal, copper, and precious metals going through the roof lately.

Sad but true. All metals are going up and the blame is being put on the Chinese who are said to be buying up metals on the world markets.

Older shooters tell me that they have gone through lead price fluctuations previously, most notably in the 70's when shot prices went through the roof.

Maybe it's time to start shooting 7/8s ounce loads in my 12 gauge.
