Went to restock some reloading supplies. I usually buy in bulk so trips to the store are once or twice a year affairs.

The store I usually go to had everything I wanted but no shot. None of any size. Store owner said there is a shortage. :what:

Claimed Remington didn't even know if they could obtain enough to keep up with production and their commitments.

Anyone else heard of this?

Apparently the price of lead has jumped dramatically. The folks who sell bulk bullets have raised their prices accordinly. Maybe that's why shot is harder to come by?

I have just heard this weekend shot went up $2.00 per bag... Guys at the club where talking about the price of reloading a box of shells is getting very close to the price of the sale promo shells.. It's not really worth the time to reload if the cost saving isn't there. ???

Buy a Littleton shot maker, use wheel weights and make your own.

Last week I bought ammo at my local gunshop and asked why the price went up. Was told the distributor said because China is buying a lot of lead on the world market??

Could be b.s. but who knows. Anyway to check this out?
