I bought my .22/45 a year too late...the new ones with the 1911 grip panels are great. I guess I need to do a retrofit on mine....it would be nice to be able to order grips that are specifically made for this new pistol as opposed to 1911 grips. That way you don't have the unneccessary notches...looks a bit more clean.

Damnit.. i just did the 22/45 1911 grip panel upgrade 2 days ago!..

why didn't they get that right the first time...

Does anyone know any other shot show report sites, besides Quinns'? In the past there have been two or three real good ones, but there seems to be a lack of good coverage this year, of the product offerings themselves, from the inside.

Anyone have more info on the ithaca 1911s? Like who makes them. And is the classic marked like a real gi ithaca? I may need one of these. Fast.:D

And yeah, methinks you'd probably need an SBR stamp for that EMA thing or else you'll get 3 squares free for a few years.
God, how I hate to reveal my ignorance. Why is it illegal to put a stock on a semi-auto pistol that becomes a semi-auto rifle? Just seems bass-ackwards.

A S&W 638 at the SHOT show? 638 has been out for the better part of a bagillion years. Why on earth is it suddenly news-worthy?

I've shot a 329 PD and like it a lot. I was thinking a 357 mag version would be cool. Look like that was introduced.
EDIT: No Ti cylinder :(
