Shot Show Reports

Was anyone else disappointed by the Shot Show Reports this year? The ones that I have seen were much more brief then they were in years past. That's if they were even completed at all. Was there just not enough worth covering this year or have they locked down on letting websites cover the new products so that the gun rags can have first crack at them? And when I say gun rags, I use that term affectionately.

From what I read, they really locked down on photography this year. In fact I remember someone using the term "Camera Nazis".

I posted my review here. Jeff York has not got his big showshowreports.com up because he has been to busy to post it to the web page.

There was lots of neat stuff.

The media people (of which I am one) usually do their reports for various print media (including gun rags). These will show up in publications starting next month. If the popular Internet forums had anyone going around with press credentials I didn't run into any of them. Those who didn't have formal credentials weren't allowed out on the floor with cameras, although enforcement was so-so.

Yes, there was a lot of new interesting stuff.

That's the way it was ... I don't make the rules.
