I picked up my 9mm Cougar 8000 last weekend at my dealer. Finally got a chance to fire some rounds through her besides the cold weather. I ran 30 rounds of american eagle and 50 rounds of remington hardball ammo in 115 gr. Folks from the little i shot this puppy she rocks for sure. Not one issue so far of any kind. Very nice shooter all the way around....:D:D:D

Good choice, Dave. I've had one for a couple of years now. I think it's a really nice shooter, especially for the price.

It's always nice when you buy a new gun and have a good first range session with it, congrats!

The Cougar has interested me for a long time, it's a fact that the Turks make really good guns.

Here's a picture for ya with Beretta grips added. I like this gun very much as well. Edited to add: I'm not the OP.

Glad you like it! I used to have one in .40 S&W but I got rid of it when I switched over to 9mm. I may just pick one up in 9mm one of these days

Have both 9mm & .40SW. Both are excellent. You won't be disappointed

I hear tell they will be bringing out the 45 at least that is the talk I hear on the net.
Hey aji which do you like the best 9 or the 40?
Thanks

I picked one up at a gun show a few months ago. It was an original Beretta... stainless, made in Italy. The pistol in NIB condition, original box, papers and 5 mags was $475. Not a screaming deal... but a hard to find model.

Great gun.

stevemis, great catch. Italian Inox like NIB, 5 mags for $475. I think it's great deal. Why can't I find those? :banghead:

I have one in .40 that I only care for so-so. For some reason the trigger doesn't agree with me and I have a tendency to pull the shots off target a hair....Turned it into a truck gun.

hey stevemis you run across anymore of those deals by all means let me and others know!!!!! ha ha Man that is a heck of a deal in stainless nib you cannot beat that for sure.
