I went to a gander mountain closing sale, and they didnt have them. I went to the local shotgun range, and they didn't have them. The guy at the shotgun range said to either convert a baby carriage or order one from rugged gear.

Rugged gear is on the pricey side. $200-450. Is there a cheaper alternative? I was thinking most would run $150-250.

Gun carts were practically a necessity for competition in SASS/Cowboy Action Shooting because of the requirement for a rifle, shotgun, and two revolvers with lots of ammo. Check the SASS website for examples. Many were custom made and quite elaborate. Others were based on existing platforms such as the golf cart others have posted here.

I just made one from a Schwinn jogging stroller I snagged off Craigslist for $35. I added two Kolpin XL ATV gun hooks and still slid in for well under $100. I recommend putting Slime in the tires, and the front wheel should be on a swivel.

It carries two shotguns, a small cooler, and all the ammo I'll need for one round of sporting clays. My brother added four sets of gun hooks to his, so between us we can carry the whole squad's gear.
