Shotgun coating (DURA-TOUCH) replacement - After market?

Are there any shotgun coatings out there that are better or equal to the DURA-TOUCH coating that Winchester provides?? The reason I ask is that I want to have a Winchester SX3 3" version camoed but the DURA-TOUCH coating has to be removed to do so.

I have been trying to find out what Dura Touch is ever since I bought an SX-2 a few years ago. So far I've determined that it's an FN/Browning/Winchester process and it a 2-step application. That's it.

I imagine it's some sort of special polyurethane or somesuch, but I don't know for certain.

I haven't seen anything like it on any other guns, knives, slings, scopes or binocs, etc. Only on the FN/Browning-family products.
