Hello! I have my bonus money burning a hole in my pocket and I need to buy a shotgun. I have it narrowed down to 3 different shotguns, based on how they feel and fit me. I would like to ask for some advice and opinions.

Option 1 is the Benelli m4s90 with pistol grip and ghost rings.
Option 2 is a Benelli M1 with pistol grip and ghost rings.
Option 3 is a Winchester Sx2 with turkey sights.
My reasons for these shotguns are that they seem to fit me better than the other brands. My primary use for the shotgun will be for rabbits, squirrels, coyotes and turkeys.
Now for a few questions....
1. Which of these guns would have the least amount of felt recoil?
2. How will the ghost rings perform in hunting situations as compared to the turkey sights?
3. If I choose the Winchester, does it have an extended magazine I can add?
4. Which of these guns would be the most difficult to clean?

Thank you for your time, advice and opinions. --Tim

I've never fired an SX2, but the Benellis have got the least amount of recoil of the autoloaders that I have used.

Turkey sights (fiber optic) will be slightly more visible in low light, but ghost rings will offer more precision.

WhitKnight--- thank you for your reply. Do you know...is there another good shotgun forum on the net that I might be able to get some additional advice and opinions? Thanks again. --Tim

X-2s have gas actions, great for less kick.

The X-2 seems to be a classic in the making.

Never needed GRs for critter control, in fact a standard bead works well.

Of what you've listed, I lean towards the X-2, though my first choice is still an 870.

Super X2

Never had a need for a pistol grip or fancy sights for hunting. A shotgun is POINTED NOT AIMED .

A stock shotgun can do everything a "specialized" SG will do. A "specialized" SG can't do everything a stock one will.

Before you buy ...even with a hole burning in your pocket....use some of that money. Go to a range that rents guns and shoot a variety. Buy Brister's Book . Educate before buying....the money will still be there, just belonging to a more educated person with pockets. :)
