I'm confused about the different night sights available for the Benelli.

I just bought a new post-ban late-model NIB Benelli M1S90 with ghost ring sights and a non-pistol grip stock. I'd like to put night sights on it.

Brownells shows two choices for Benelli night sights from Meprolight:

Brownells Link

"M1 Benelli has post front and ghost ring rear. Fits M1 and M3 Ghost Ring. Tactical Benelli fits M1 Tactical M and Practical.

Not sure which I should be getting. I would think it would be M1 Benelli, but why the difference between the M1/M3 and the M1 Tactical M? All I can divine is that the M1 Tactical M is different from the M1S90 with pistol grip because it has a "military ghost ring" sight. Is that different from the M1S90 ghost ring sight I've got?

The ghost rings on my Benelli and the style currently offered are different.
This made me curious...

I just compared the rear sight on mine to the current style from the 2003 catalog. It appears as though the current style does not use a ramped base for elevation adjustments as mine does. The current models call thiers a "military" ghostring. It is available on the M3, and the M1 Practical, Tactical, and Entry entry models.
not much but maybe it helped a little bit.

Thanks, mine is the LPA-marked ghostring, looks like it's the "military" one. I guess because the front sight screws in like a M16 front sight.

Ashley makes a tritium "Big Dot" for the benilli. I really like it on my M3.
