shotgun mag springs

hey guys, i want to get a better wolff spring for my mossberg 7+1 shot persuader because the spring feels weak and sticky when pushing shells in the tube. i was just wondering if a 6/7 shot remington mag spring would be a better spring or if you know of any for my gun that would work better, let me know thanks.

Depending on how much the gun has been used, the magazine tube and the spring might just need a good cleaning.......

i just feel like mossberg puts realy crappy springs in their guns. ive had 3 other pump 12gauges and this one feels like it has a junky spring

If it always feeds the last round or two reliably, how it feels has nothing to do with it.

yea i know the mossberg is a great gun i would just rather have a better spring anyway since this is my defense gun i want to make sure it will feed fine if i leave it sitting with the mag full or downloaded by one round

Leaving a magazine full does nothing to shorten spring life - constant working of the spring does that. Having a tube full of gunk can affect performance, which is why I mentioned cleaning it first, if you haven't already done so.

yea i know half people believe its bad for the spring half think its fine. i think if its a cheap enough spring it could hurt it. and yea i do still need to clean the tube i need to find visegrips to unscrew the tube to get in there first though.
