Its been about 5 years since my last subscription to shotgun news. It seemed to get repetitive and stale for the most part. Used to have some good advertisers and good prices but even those started to mimic the typical gun show pricing.

Wondered if things have changed and whether it would be worth another subscription?

I use Shotgun News as a reference tool and enjoy the articles (like I do in Playboy) that help keep me informed as to what is new and what's happening in the legal sense.

Shotgun News ceased to be relevant when the internet discovered guns.

When I was sixteen I read, studied and slobbered over every issue. Now it serves little purpose other than as a reminder of the way things used to be.

Which is sad.:(

I just subscribed to ShotGun news again, there's nothing in it anymore, this will be my last subscription. biker

Same here. I would visit my grandparent's house and drool over all the cool stuff you could buy. It was gun porn at the time. I think the internet killed it.

They did have great ads, but now it is just like any other gun magazine with mostly articles. The 2 and 3 page ads are gone and what few ads are remaining have prices higher than local gun shops.
