Mmmm, I can see showing up at the trap range with one of these! :)
Is 18in. the only barrel length available? Is something a bit longer available?
QUOTE]

I bought a S20 yesturday got a manual with it that lists barrel lengths available for all models though so this is a question I can answer ;)

S12, S20, and S410 come with either 19" 24" 26" or 28"

S7.62 and S223 come with 20" or 16"

S308 comes with 22" or 16"

hope that helps ;)

Thanx for the info Semi. Much appreciated.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for some of the longer barrel lengths in 12 ga. to be included in the much anticipated shipment. Out of curiosity, does the manual discuss chokes - what the default configuration is and if there are interchangeable ones available?

...Patiently waiting for the availability announcement...

For chokes it shows them as optional so some have it some don't here is exactly what it says.

Screw in chokes for shotguns (this is an option)
SHOTGUN CHOKE TUBE INFORMATION

S410
Full=3
Mod=2
Improved/mod=-
Improved cylinder=1
Cylinder=-

S20
Full=F(0.9)
Mod=-
Improved/mod=M(0.5)
Improved Cylinder=IC(0.25)
Cylinder=C(0.0)

S12
Full=F(1.0)
Mod=-
Improved/mod=M(0.5)
Improved Cylinder=IC(0.25)
Cylinder(0.0)

Each choke tube is marked with the choke symbols:
The choke tube threads: "S410 are LH,"S20 $ S12 are RH
For steel shot or slugs use Cylinder or Improved Cylinder tube.

That's what it says lol I don't make much sense of tubes as I never use them and mine doesn't take them hope it helps. Guess i should give credit to since I copied it word for word lol

That was back then. Now they are only available in 19 or 24" for the 12ga and 20ga, and 19" or 21" for the 410. And the only thing coming in on the first shipment is the 19"bbl. The others will be here April or May.

There are no plans to bring in the other bbl lengths.

I got a call from RAAC, they have left the bonded warehouse and are in route to RAAC. We should have them by the week of the 23rd. If you ordered one and want the Tromix conversion, they will go to Tony within 3 days.

I'm a little poor right after Christmas and all but really want a 12 ga Saiga. Do you see these running ut anytime soon. I have been waiting becasue I think somewone will come out with some nice 20 round drums eventually. but I dont' want to miss the boat and it will be a couple months before I could think about diving in for one.

Waiting for that reason is a really bad idea. IF someone came out with one, the ATF would most certainly classify them as a DD. If you already have one, it will be a LOT easier to register it, and cheaper than it would be to do so after the fact.

As for them running out, yes, they very easily can. The Russians are notorious for not shipping what they say they did, or shipping it when they say they did. Look at Robinson Arms. Last time they ran our of Veprs it was 18 months before they got resupplied. Now, they are several months without the full line of guns and they don't have any idea when the new ones are coming in.

You guys are going to have to learn to budget around Christmas. We are going to be doing some REALLY killer deals post Christmas from now on. So make sure you set some aside for that!:D

You can read about Tony's work over on Saiga12.com's forums. I would say so. His reputation is excellent, and if you want to get away from the sporter configuration, he does it really well.
