I've had a pardner pump that I've been partial to and was thinking about putting a +2 extension on it, anybody have one that they would recommend, along with any other worthwhile upgrades. I'm actually not in a big yank to swap the furniture because for a $200 shotgun the furniture feels like good rugged quality. A little heavy though. Is it generally understood that this being an 870 clone, it will accept any 870 compatible furniture/accessories with little to no fitting?

Aside from being quite heavy I quite like this shotgun. I would like to up the capacity from 5+1 to 7+1 but would settle for 6+1. I just want to know it's dead nuts reliable. I was also thinking about putting in a stiffer or higher quality magazine tube spring, it feels a lil light in the loafers compared to others.

Feel free to show any pictures of your upgraded pardner. Although I'd guess alot of guys here are Remington 870 purists and would never buy a Chinese copy, im sure some have.. I bought this gun before I knew anything about anything. I might have been 19 years old. I had a unused wingmaster that I paid $200 for and sold for $200, after some reading I'm really kicking myself for that. If I had known anything about shotguns I would have kept that gun forever. Another one of those "wish I knew" situations. For now I'm stuck with the pardner as my HD/multi purpose shotgun and I guess that's all right. Just looking for +1 or +2 and am open to any other suggestions. I was considering putting a base on it and throwing a red dot on, or maybe some better sights, idk. Definitely the extension, possibly a side saddle, and some magpul furniture to cut down on weight.

What is a quality company to look for these things guys?

I have a pardner pump (28" vent rib barrel) that I like, actually bought it while looking at SxS 12 gauges. Thought about a mag tube extension but talked myself out of it because reasons. I did purchase an IC choke, some adjustabe vent rib sights for slug shooting and a sling should I ever need it. Tested a hastings extended rifled choke but could not see any difference in groups (foster slugs) out to 100 yards. Haven't (and probably won't) try sabots. No problems with the gun to date (1 yr./700ish rounds fired) and it breaks clay birds nicely. So far so good....

IIRC the stock is a bit different from the 870 but have read that the mag extensions and forearms will fit.
